Our policy is to keep the church open as much as possible

Palm Sunday to the last Sunday in October (when the clocks go back)
Monday to Saturday
Approximate timings: 10.30pm to 5.00pm

Last Sunday in October to 5th Sunday in Lent (Passion Sunday)
Church closed Monday to Friday
Saturday: Church open (see above for timings)

Sundays: Church open: Worship at 9.30am – Closes late afternoon

St Peter's Field Broughton

St Peter’s is a beautiful Paley and Austin church.
It was consecrated on St. Peter’s Day 1894 by the Bishop of Carlisle.
It was originally built as a Chapel of Ease to Cartmel Priory
and consecrated by the Bishop of Chester in June 1745.
